A little bit about me…

Hi its me Bhumika and I m the camera woman behind www.pictureperfectsmile.co.uk.

I m from India and technically supposed to be Chemical Engineer by profession. I made the UK my home around 20 years ago when I came to Edinburgh for post graduation at Heriot-Watt University and eventually moved to London to find work and explore. I have worked many jobs big and small and loved every bit of it. London and its vast culture has imprinted on me over the last few years and I have come to love it. I have a little boy who is also my muse and a very encouraging husband who never stopped me from exploring new opportunities since I met him. I sort of stumbled into Photography as a hobby in my early 20s buying second hand SLRs and going out in the city exploring.

This turned into a unique fundraising opportunity when I walked the Half marathon in 2018. Since then I have been lucky enough to see my passion turn into a rare career opportunity I never dreamed of. Now since March 2023 I have been pursuing Photography full time and specialise in Newborns, Maternity and Family shoots. I feel like a new life has been bestowed on me and I intend to give it my 1000%.
